Are we missing something here?
Ever since Melbourne's inaugural music event The Bureau was inexplicably called off just days before it was to take place at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl this weekend, punters have been left scratching their heads as to the reason behind the cancellation.
Promoters Dagger Wolf have since said that the event, which was advertised as featuring the likes of Charles Bradley and Motown legends The Temptations, as well as a number of Aussie acts such as Saskwatch, Asta and Andy Bull, has been postponed to due "lack of support and ticket sales" and that it it set to go ahead next March at a different venue.
However according to the Arts Centre Melbourne website (where tickets were originally on sale), there are no plans to bring back the festival at all.
" [The Bureau] will not proceed as planned on 11 December, 2015," the online statement reads.

"As there are no plans to reschedule the event, all ticket-holders will be offered a full refund."
In a world where social media can usually give us all the answers, The Bureau's Facebook page has mysteriously been taken down, only leaving us with more questions and conflicting explanations.
Even more concerning is that none of the artists on the bill have addressed the cancellation through management or their personal social media handles.
The festival threw many off guard within days of the event being announced this past September when veteran US hip hop act Salt N Pepa pulled out of performing at the event just two days after they were confirmed on the bill.
Publicists for the event have today told theMusic that an official statement is currently in the works, so until then just exactly what happened to The Bureau is still up for debate.
The Music has reached out to management of Saskwatch and Andy Bull for comment.
