Melbourne singer-turned-international superstar Courtney Barnett continues on her quest to claim every single award humanly possible, taking out four titles at the ARIA Awards.

Currently touring Europe, Barnett was up for eight awards at The Star casino-based event, walking away with Best Female Artist, Best Independent Release, and Breakthrough Artist, after winning Best Cover Art last month at the ARIA Nominations event in Sydney.

The world-conquering force that is Tame Impala also left their impression, being crowned Best Group, and being awarded Best Rock Album and Best Album for Currents out of their six nominations, Oh Mercy won Best Adult Contemporary Album for When We Talk About Love, CW Stoneking’s Gon' Boogaloo was worthy of Best Blues & Roots Album and Vance Joy was crowned Male Artist Of The Year.
