Janiva Magness Adds Sideshow Dates To Bluesfest Plans

Award-winning Michigan-bred blues songstress Janiva Magness will add to her existing Bluesfest commitments in 2016 with a pair of headline sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne, it has been announced.

The freshly (re-)crowned Blues Female Artist Of The Year will perform at Melbourne's Corner Hotel on Saturday 26 March, heading up to Sydney a few days later to take on The Basement on Wednesday 30 March.

Magness' Australian visit comes in the wake of her 11th studio album, Original, and promises to showcase all the reasons that have conspired to help make Janiva Magness one of the most well-regarded forces in international blues and R&B today.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale this Thursday, 26 November, from 10am AEDT via Bluesfest Touring.
