Justin Bieber, Kerser, One Direction
Two of pop's biggest acts will be vying for top spot on this week's ARIA Albums Chart in US singer Justin Bieber and UK boy band One Direction, but it won't come without a fight from Aussie hip hop artist Kerser on the back of his fifth album, Next Step.
The midweek figures show that Bieber's latest offering Purpose and 1D's Made In The AM are heading for a top three finish while Kerser is set to crack the top five and looks to the be the only threat to best the pop stars.
The news comes on the same day that Kerser has announced a national tour next year in support of the album — click here for dates.
Meanwhile iconic Aussie talent Kylie Minogue is aiming for a top ten finish with her Christmas album Kylie Christmas, as is Brisbane singer Conrad Sewell with All I Know.

Rounding out the album debut's this week include Jeff Lynne's ELO with Alone In The Universe, Slim Dusty's The Den Tapes, Andre Rieu & The Johann Strauss Orchestra with Roman Holiday, Jackie Onassis' Pristine Alley and Chris Young's I'm Comin' Over.
On the Singles Chart, Bieber could potentially top both ARIA charts this week, with his latest track Love Yourself likely to debut in the top three, while another two Bieber song's, The Feeling and Purpose, are also debuting this week.
Meanwhile, expect to hear new tunes from The Amity Affliction with Shine On, Guy Sebastian's Black & Blue, Missy Elliott's WTF (Where They From) and Australian-based singer Troye Sivan's Youth.
