Because apparently you can never have too many line-up announcements

Next year's Soundwave Festival line-up is still yet to take its final form, with the annual heavy-music event revealing today that it has added a further three bands to its 2016 roster.

Joining the glacially growing cabal of bands destined to join the touring festival next year are veteran heavyweights Killswitch Engage, latin-metal kings Ill Nino and horror-metal mega-band Terror Universal, featuring current and former members from Ill Nino as well as Machine Head and Soulfly.

The festival made the announcement on social media this afternoon, explaining that both Killswitch and Ill Nino would be performing respective seminal albums Alive Or Just Breathing and Revolution, Revolucion in their entirety at next year's shindigs, which get under way in Brisbane on 23 January.

A third line-up announcement is expected later this month, but for all the info you need so far on SW16, head to our dedicated event page under the Festivals tab.
