WAM Announce 2015 Craft Winners & Hall Of Fame Inductees

Ahead of the big announce this Thursday.

While the complete list of the 2015 WAM winners will be announced this Thursday, today the winners of the Craft category have been revealed, as have this year's Hall Of Fame inductees.

John Brown (Mei SaraswatiBoom! Bap! Pow!)

best drummer/percussionist

Louis Rando (Malignant MonsterThe Furor)

best keys/synth artist

Ron Pollard (Tangled Thoughts Of Leaving)

Meanwhile, iconic jazz singer Helen Matthews and Managing Director of Billions Australia Paul Sloan have been announced as the 2015 Hall Of Fame recipients.

Matthews has been coined as 'WA's First Lady Of Jazz' and with a career spanning over half a century, her acknowledgement is hugely deserved. Sloan has played a vital part in shaping WA's music scene and has also produced thousands of events in the state, as well as over 100 major outdoor events.

Both Matthews and Sloan will be inducted at Thursday's ceremony which will take place at Jack Rabbit Slim's.
