It's their 10th Anniversary and going to be a big one
It's time once again for The Age and Music Victoria to stage their annual Awards show, and this year's a big 'un. For its tenth year, The Age Music Victoria Awards will see bluesman Marlon Williams, slacker rock enthusiast Courtney Barnett and young guitar-slayer Harts all taking to the stage to perform short sets.
Emceed by Triple R and PBS's broadcasters Chris Gill and Lyndelle Wilkinson, attendees will also get the chance to experience Ajak Kwai, Ben Salter, Blake Scott (The Peep Tempel), Briggs, Ecca Vandal, Emma Donovan, Iseula Hingano (Blue Eyes Cry) and Olympia all performing with The EG Allstars.
"The Age Music Victoria Awards shines a spotlight on a year of outstanding releases and promises to deliver a wonderful night, celebrating the diversity of great Victorian music," said Martin Boulton, The Age's music editor.
"Wow, 10 years since the first awards and this year's nominees have delivered some of the best music we’ve ever heard."
