The one-off joint release ties in with Dreems current tour dates

More Jagwar Ma More Jagwar Ma

Sydney muso Dreems has teamed up with good mates Jagwar Ma to unveil a one-off collaborative cover of a classic song by venerated '80s Aussie psych outfit The Moffs — namely, much-loved 1987 cut Another Day In The Sun, off the band's Labyrinth LP.

As Jagwar Ma explain on their SoundCloud, the track has come about "after time spent in Europe and North America" to celebrate the bands' "personal climate change", with "a one-off collaboration released to tie-in with Dreems' current tour dates". It's a sonically luscious, ethereally ambling take on The Moffs' famed track, dappled with reverb-heavy vocals and instrumentation, glitchy synths and a palpable "lie down and watch some clouds forever" vibe that'll make this a perfect accompaniment for the forthcoming summer afternoons.

The track was mixed by "Captain" Ewan Pearson, and is available in a limited-edition white-label format. Jagwar Ma are presently writing and recording their second album - "due to be released sometime next year" - while Dreems is keeping busy on the road and working on a follow-up EP for his debut full-length In Dreems, which dropped back in January.
