The conference hits Melbourne this November

Melbourne's premier music industry conference Face The Music is back for another year of back-to-back panel sessions, keynotes, networking opportunities, workshops and more with some of Australia's best music industry figures this 13 and 14 November. Today, they've announced the first line-up of international and local speakers to take the stage to share and discuss their ideas.

Led by US musician, producer and DJ, JD Samson, of Le Tigre and MEN fame will be sharing her ideas on the music culture articles she's penned (such as 'I Love My Job But It Made Me Poorer' for Huffington Post), as well her support for the LGBTQIF communities and various feminist causes.

Music activist Ruth Daniel will also take to Face The Music with her thoughts on being an indie/DIY artist in this day and age — as the founder of Un-Convention, a global grassroots community event in over 25 countries, Daniel has worked for the cause for years.

Of course, attendees will also get to hear from hometown music industry speakers, with Frank Cotela of Onelove Music Group, Dan Rosen from ARIA and Marc Sousley from Secret Sounds leading the charge, along with a slew of others.
