The small New South Wales town of Berry is set to come alive this December when Australia's newest festival, Fairgrounds, rolls into town.

The new event will showcase an array of boutique markets, film and music in one of the country's most breathtaking regions.

A slew of huge international and local artists are also set to hit the stage on the South Coast on 5 December, lead by LA crooner Father John Misty and Sydney's own Royal Headache, with more acts to still be announced.
See below for the full line-up so far in alphabetical order:

CW Stoneking, Father John Misty, Jessica Pratt, Mercury Rev, Ratatat, Royal Headache and Unknown Mortal Orchestra

Wines and local delicacies will also be on offer for adults, while the festival site will be filled with field games and a kids area, to ensure festival-goers of all ages are entertained on the day.

Families are encouraged to make a weekend of the event, with a special 'Cinema Under The Stars' film scheduled to take place the night before Fairgrounds kicks off, while on Sunday 6 December the Berry Markets will open to offer a wide range of produce and collectables.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased via the festival website and kids under 12 are allowed free entry.
