It's official.

More Tyler, The Creator More Tyler, The Creator

After weeks of speculation that US rapper Tyler, The Creator had been banned from the country, Aussie fans' worst fears were brought to life today with the announcement that all shows of his national tour set for next month have been cancelled.

While no specific reason has been given for the cancellation of the hip-hop artist's Cherry Bomb World Tour in Australia, Tyler gave an ominous message to his fans in a statement regarding the announcement.

"We would much rather come to Australia when it isn't surrounded in controversy," the 24-year-old said.

"I love my fans there and hopefully I'll be back soon. Don't do drugs."
