AIR Announces Dates For 10th Annual AIR Awards

This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) and with its 20th year comes AIR's 10th Annual Awards, presented with Carlton Dry and Rdio.

This year's festivities will take place on Thursday, 22 October at Meat Market in North Melbourne, having first taken place in 2006 at Sydney's Blackett Hotel, with Hilltop Hoods, Gotye and Blue King Brown taking out AIR's four awards that year.

With performances for the night to be announced soon, you can expect some big names to take the stage — the past decade has seen Gurrumul, The Drones, CW Stoneking, Hermitude, Violent Soho and Seth Sentry showcase their stuff at the Awards.
