Yours & Owls Music Fest Expands Further With All Ages Third Day

With the Yours & Owls Music And Arts Festival Weekender nearing, promoters have announced that the expanded two-day 18+ festival will expand further into a three-day festival, allowing punters of all ages to experience the rabid energy of acts like The Smith Street Band, The Preatures and The Rubens on its third day.

Event promoter Ben Tillman has explained, "We are trying to transform Wollongong’s culture into one where live music and creative culture is part of the everyday landscape. To do this we recognise the need to make music and art accessible to people of all ages and if our long-term vision is to be realised, then we need to involve the youngest members of our community.
 
"This is by far the biggest all ages event to happen in the Illawarra region for as long as we can remember and we are super excited to be able to put on this event and to see what inspiring ideas it provokes... along with of course letting the kids get their fair and well deserved share of live music."

Sunday's line-up will also feature The Delta Riggs, The Pinheads, Gang Of Youths and Saskwatch, with more to be announced soon.

Held at Stuart Park in Wollongong, the festival will also bring a raging good time in the form of music from art installations, projections, a giant birthday cake (to celebrate its fifth anniversary) and a twilight food market.
