The race is on in the ARIA midweek charts.

More Northlane More Northlane

Aussie metalcore act Northlane look to be on their way to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart this week, but they'll have to battle it out with US heavyweights Lamb Of God to do so.

Northlane's third studio album, Node, has been received with acclaim from fans and critics alike and it even earned our pick for Album Of The Week — check out the review here.

Meanwhile Lamb Of God's eighth studio album VII: Sturm und Drang is the band's first in three years and is likely to crack into the top three.

If Northlane are successful in topping the charts, it will be the first time the Sydney-outfit have pulled off the feat, with their last record, Singularity, coming in at #3.
