British rockers Catfish & The Bottlemen have announced their cancellation of their Splendour In The Grass appearance, just hours before they're due to hit Melbourne's Corner Hotel for their headline show in anticipation of their festival slot.
In a Facebook post, the band state that "due to illness in the band and crew, Catfish and the Bottlemen will not be playing their planned shows this week in Australia and Japan; including Splendour in the Grass and Fuji Rocks festivals.
"The band are obviously absolutely devastated not to be making the trip and hope fans will understand."
The band have requested fans to seek refunds from the point of purchase for tickets to both the Melbourne and Sydney shows, the latter of which was due to be held tomorrow night at the Oxford Art Factory.
