It's going up opposite Southern Cross Station

More Beyonce More Beyonce

Queen Bey continues to reign supreme in every way possible, this time over Melbourne with Australian architecture and interior design firm Elenberg Fraser announcing they will be building a Beyonce-themed building called the Premier Tower on 134 Spencer Street.

The architecture firm's press release says that the vertical cantilever building is a marriage between art and science — "For those more on the art than science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic — we're going to trust you've seen the music video for Beyonce's Ghost."

The tower will be built 78-storeys tall (according to NME) and will house hotel rooms, retail space and apartments, with three street frontages. It will reside opposite Southern Cross Station and aims to "anchor the increased westerly shift of the CBD, heralded by the regeneration of Docklands, Fishermen’s Bend and Southbank".

Ghost hails from Beyonce's 2013 album of the same name, released unceremoniously on the iTunes Store to everyone's surprise, but going on to sell over 800,000 copies worldwide in its first three days of availability.

Check out the video for Ghost below — we think Elenberg Fraser sought inspiration from Beyonce and her two dancers twisting and turning to try and get out of that full-length body stocking at 1:32.
