Now the band need to find some time with her!

In Sydney for the premiere of Paper Towns, best-selling author John Green's adaptation of the novel of the same name, London-born model and actress Cara Delevingne was surprised when The Music told her of Brisbane band, The Ninjas, penning a song called Cara Delevingne.

"How do I find these people?!" she says immediately. When asked if she would feature in their video if they asked, she says, "I would do it, if I had time…" And does she have time? Cheekily she answers, "Yup. No. Not at all."

The quirky actress, who dances, sings and beatboxes (she's incredibly good, too) in between interviews on the red carpet, goes on to say it's unbelievable to have songs written about you.

"It's the weirdest thing in the world! It's so sweet, holy fuck. It's the highest form of flattery!"

The Brisbane four-piece released the single last week, already enjoying a spin on triple j and a shout-out on Rolling Stone Australia. To celebrate the ode to the enigmatic actress, the band are hitting the road on the Cara Delevingne single tour from the end of this month, stopping by Solbar in the Sunshine Coast, Alhambra Lounge in Brisbane and The Triffid on 23 August.
