Five hours wasn't enough.

Blur frontman Damon Albarn was carried off stage by security during a concert in Denmark after refusing to end a marathon set which lasted five hours.

According to Pitchfork the British singer who was performing at the Roskilde Festival with the Africa Express Project was told around 4am that he had to stop the show, however Albarn, ever the showman, was having none of it.

After a security guard walked on stage to inform Albarn that he had to wrap it up, he responded quickly: "Fuck that."

"You want more, yeah?" Albarn asked the crowd to thunderous applause.

"Fuck what anyone says. You want more, we’re going to give you more."

After the audience broke out into a 'More' chant, the same guard walked back out and picked Albarn up and walked off stage as the crowd booed — check out how it all went down below.

The marathon set included performances of songs such as Clint Eastwood by Albarn's side-project Gorillaz and a cover of Should I Stay Or Should I Go by The Clash.

Meanwhile Blur are set to travel to Australia in a matter of weeks to headline the highly anticipated Splendour In The Grass festival, as well as a number of arena headline shows — check out the festival tab for more details.
