To expand their reach on our side of the earth, the Canadians in indie pop four-piece Paper Lions have shaken hands with new Aussie record label, Elevnth Records, to release the single, My Friend, from their sophomore effort of the same name.

The boys, hailing from the village of Belfast on Prince Edward Island off the east coast of Canada, have received numerous accolades over the course of their career — they won Best Pop EP at the 2013 Independent Music Awards, a slew of nominations at the Canadian East Coast Music Awards and have enjoyed regular airplay on MTV, ANC, NBC and MuchMusic.

Aussies loved the quartet when they toured here last December, stopping by a few east coast dates as well as Victoria's Wood Folk Festival over New Years.

Elevnth Records is home to punk, metal and alternative acts such as Red Beard, Ratking and Void Of Vision — you can check out an exclusive clip we premiered for Void Of Vision's Sun//Rise here.
