Aussie deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder are looking to cap a massive week off with their third studio album Holy War set to smash into the top five on this week's ARIA Albums Chart. 

Not only have the Sydney quintet this week announced a national tour to coincide with the album release, but the record also recently scored our pick for Album Of The Week — check out the review here

The band's new material hasn't been met without controversy however, with their latest film clip for the track named after the album drawing criticism. 

After the metal outfit were forced defend the controversial artwork of the new album in April, the new video depicts extremely graphic visuals, including a child suicide bomber and a man dressed in an Islamist militant attire performing a beheading.

The clip has garnered near 85,000 views since its release on Monday — check out the video below, though due to the graphic images, viewer discretion is advised. 

Aussie legends John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John look to be Thy Art Is Murder's biggest competitor in the race for the highest Aussie debut this week with the live concert album, Two Strong Hearts.

After touring the country together earlier this year, the two veteran performers finest tracks from the tour have been compiled into a brand new CD which is currently aiming for a top three finish.

It marks Farnham's first album released since another his 2011 live record, The Acoustic Chapel Sessions, while Newton-John's last offering came in 2012 with a Christmas album alongside US actor John TravoltaThis Christmas.

Swedish hardcore-punk outfit Refused are set to break into the top ten of the charts with their first album released in 17 years, Freedom.

Over on the Singles Chart, Sydney alt-dance trio RÜFÜS are aiming for a top 20 finish with their latest track, You Were Right.

The boys are currently working on new material before they head to the US for a string of shows throughout July, August and September. 

Expect to hear new tunes this week also from English rapper Tinie Tempah with Not Letting Go featuring Jess Glynne, Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies and his track, Are You With Me and finally US songwriter Pia Mia's Do It Again, which also features fellow American singer Chris Brown and rapper Tyga
