Fittingly enough, it's for a song called 'Wrestle With Dad'

More Liam Finn More Liam Finn

It's probably been a pretty daunting experience to grow up as the son of music legend Neil Finn, but Liam Finn has nonetheless made a pretty solid go of standing on his own two feet for the grand majority of his career.

That said, the troubadour's newest film clip, Wrestle With Dad, may shed a bit of light on some latent emotions Finn the Younger might yet harbour against his famous father, given that it appears he saw the opportunity his track had presented him by virtue of its title and themes, and conscripted Neil for a spot of song-appropriate seaside RASSLIN' in the name of glory and unrealised patricide.

It's a fairly fierce tussle, too, with the pair starting out high above the ocean and engaging in some light slappery before the sleeper holds and Boston Crabs come out to play. Additionally, they seem a pretty evenly matched pair (right down to the trunks), so it's probably safe to say that the real winner of this bout is everyone who gets to watch it.

The impetus for the video's release - however belatedly - is Liam Finn's third full-length The Nihilist, which dropped in the first quarter of 2014 and yielded preceding clips for album cuts Burn Up The Road and Helena Bonham Carter. Check out Liam's latest addition to the canon below.
