Jack Rabbit Slim's will find their home in Northbridge

Say welcome to Northbridge, Perth's shiny new digs — Jack Rabbit Slim's, an exciting, multi-purpose live music venue by Metric Events that will fill the void recently left by neighbours The Bakery, which bolted its doors this May.

The venue will be inspired by the decadent days of the '50s and will be decked out with retro booths, tables, arcade games and a dance floor to have a boogie, with the venue also offering a state-of-the-art sound system that will be able to house a full stage set-up. You'll, of course, be able to dig into fries, beer and other delicious grub while you're watching the music, too.

Luke Whelen, the man sitting at the top of Metric Events, said, "Slim’s will provide our Perth music-loving community with a permanent and reliable music venue that can showcase local talent and service touring artists, with a cross-section of both bands and electronic acts being programmed. We’re going a step further, offering awesome food and great beverage options in a comfortable, versatile environment."

With no lock-out, Jack Rabbit Slim's will be open for the public to have a shimmy from late July, with the venue's first month line-up announced very soon.
