San Diego post-hardcore posterboys Pierce The Veil will be leaving behind their guitarist Tony Perry on Warped Tour this summer, with Perry having suffered three broken ribs, a torn shoulder, a collapsed lung and a broken sternum in a mountain bike accident over the weekend.

Lead singer Vic Fuentes spoke out about the incident on Instagram, stating that Perry needed immediate surgery but is recovering well and is expected to heal fully. He also explains Perry's absence from the upcoming Warped Tour.

"He was released from the hospital yesterday, but due to doctors orders, he will not be joining us for the beginning of Warped Tour until he is healthy enough to play. We will still be carrying on with the tour as planned, and we hope to see Tony back on stage with us very soon."

Fuentes' message suggests Perry may be back for the latter half of Warped Tour, so we hope he heals up nicely! According to AbsolutePunk, Jesse Barrera (of San Diego pop punk band My American Heart fame) will be replacing Perry on Warped Tour.
