Great Southern Blues Fest Enlists More Roots And Blues Bands

A blues rock line-up you won't forget in a while

To join the already stellar blues line-up, the now 18-year-old Great Southern Blues Festival held at Narooma have added a handful of other acclaimed musos, including Melbourne urban blues group Blue King Brown, to a line-up already including The Doley Brothers, Richard Clapton, The Backsliders and Chris Cain.

With JJ Grey & Mofro added to the three-day festival earlier this week (and touring around the country on a few headlining shows, too), Narooma will also see Aussie legendary singer/songwriter Ross Wilson with The Peaceniks, double-bass toting trio 19 Twenty, Sydney blues rockers Chase The Sun and Canadian guitarist Steve Poltz.

Festival organiser Neil Mumme believes Narooma's line-up is top notch in 2015: "We are building what we believe will be one of the best Blues Festival line-ups in Australia this year for those who love predominately blues music but also dig a little more obscure music."

Advance tickets for this year's Great Southern Blues Festival, which will be held in Narooma from 2-4 October, are available now as single-day, weekend or camping passes; see the event website for further details.
