The race is on

More Guy Sebastian More Guy Sebastian

The release of Aussie artist Daniel Johns' debut solo album Talk  was always going to be a big deal and it has lived up to the hype as the record looks to reach the top three in this week's ARIA Album Charts.

Likely to be fighting out for the top spot alongside the former Silverchair frontman is the new Eurovision Song Contest 2015 Vienna soundtrack and the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack.

The new debuts from Johns and Eurovision will look to shake up the top of the list, which has seen Pitch Perfect remain in the top three in the last few weeks, recently closing out the #3 spot.

The Eurovision surge comes as no surprise due to the competition being watched by millions over the weekend and Australian representative Guy Sebastian even found some luck in the global charts with his hit, Tonight Again, which also makes its debut in the Singles Chart.

Fellow Aussie act Tim Rogers & The Bamboos are also looking to crack the top 25 with their new album, The Rules Of Attraction.

Other artists to debut this week include Mariah Carey greatest hits record, #1 To InfinityThe Vaccines with English Graffiti and the self titled album by The Story So Far.

Last week was one to remember for Aussie singer Grace who finally clinched the #1 spot on the Singles chart last week, dethroning Wiz Khalifa's See You Again, though it looks like she has a new fight on her hands.

Likely to pit Grace in a battle for the top spot is Taylor Swift with helatest single Bad Blood after it debuted last week at #3.

As well as Guy Sebastian's new track, expect to hear debut tunes from Eurovision winner, Måns Zelmerlöw and the song that saw him claim victory, Heroes.

Adam Lambert also make his return with new dance song, Ghost Town, while the new collaboration between Beyonce and Nicki Minaj drops this week, entitled Feeling Myself.
