German Duo Schneider Kacirek Announce Intimate Australian Tour

They'll be bringing their percussive music to Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Perth

The music that the two rhythm-loving Germans in Schneider Kacirek make is incredibly hard to describe, but they're okay with that.

This June, Stefan Schneider and his expertise in bass and electronics along with Sven Kacirek and his passion for drums and percussive instruments are heading to Australia on a national tour.

Both men together have sourced recordings and gathered inspiration from their time with tribal musicians in Kenya, and this combination of influences has birthed the duo's eclectic sound. Schneider says, "We try to create a music that is neither club music, nor ambient music, nor African music, so that it’s music that is sitting in-between everything."

With their newest album Shadows Documents tucked into the collective belts, the intimate tour will be a fantastic opportunity to see the duo's collaboration in action.
