The annual soul/hip hop/R&B event returns to Sydney and Melbourne this October

Yearly neo-soul/jazz/R&B shindig Soulfest has unveiled its second and final round of names on this year's event line-up, with venerated performer Ms Lauryn Hill (ex-The Fugees) leading the charge of new acts destined for Sydney and Melbourne this October.

Joining Hill on a line-up already overflowing with big-name drawcards such as Mary J Blige, De La Soul, Jill Scott and many more will be mononymous crooner Miguel, the two-pronged attack of Black Star, featuring existing festival act Talib Kweli and 2014 no-show Mos Def, and nine-time Grammy-nominated singer Jazmine Sullivan, as well as David DallasLadi 61200 TechniquesMaribelle and the 45 Session DJs, with Jones Jr and Yum Yum on board for Sydney's event only.

This year's Soulfest event hits The Domain, Sydney, on Saturday, 24 October, and heads down to Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl & Kings Domain Precinct the following day, Sunday, 25 October. Sideshow announcements for Brisbane and Perth will be made in the near future so, if you're in either of those capitals, don't stress too hard on missing out on the festival itself.

Tickets will go on sale from 10am AEST this Wednesday, 27 May, via the festival's website. For more information, see the Soulfest page under the Festivals tab.
