Bill Murray To Star In Netflix Christmas Special

Christmas has come early this year with Netflix' announcement today that beloved veteran and Hollywood star Bill Murray will star in a holiday special. 

The Christmas special entitled, A Very Murray Christmas will see the 64-year-actor play himself as the host of the holiday show, who fears that none of his invited guests will turn up for the event.

According to the press release: "the comedian worries no one will show up to his TV show due to a terrible snow storm in New York City. Through luck and perseverance, guests arrive at the Carlyle hotel to help him; dancing and singing in holiday spirit.”

The guests involved include a slew of celebrities who are set to appear on the special including, George Clooney, Chris Rock, Amy Poehler, Miley Cyrus and many more. 

Murray has again teamed with writer and director Sofia Coppola for the Netflix show, who he previously worked with on the acclaimed 2003 film, Lost In Translation. 

A teaser for the show has also been released and it is due for release this December.
