Ten day festival starts in Sydney.

The Pyrmont Food & Wine Festival is kicking off this weekend, boasting a two-day event at Sydney's Pirrama Park this Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.

The event will be showcasing the Mudgee region's wide array of wines, with Mudgee winemakers and connoisseurs offering a range of nearly 120 of its finest wines and a slew of the region's finest gourmet food through 100 stalls set up in the park.

It promises to be a hugely fun family-friendly event, including live music, local artists and children's entertainments and rides.

Clover Moore, Lord Mayor of Sydney said of the anticipated event: “The Pyrmont Festival is an excellent example of industry collaboration. Mudgee food and wine producers lift their profile in Sydney and Pyrmont businesses benefit from increased activity in the area."
