Just when we thought we knew all there was to know about King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's impending touring shindig GIZZFEST, the prolific Melburnians have made a(nother) final announcement ahead of the first gig on 22 May — that they'll now be taking the party to Geelong, too.

Hitting the Barwon Club Hotel on Sunday, 7 June, the Geelong leg of GIZZFEST will be the band's final performance before they "leave for ages" on an international tour in the US, Canada and Europe.

Joining King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard at Geelong's GIZZFEST event will be:

If you're in the region, we'd suggest getting along for some loose fucking revelry when King Gizz roll through Geelong — with new album Quarters swiftly approaching on the horizon, not to mention their extended time abroad coming up fast, it'll be the perfect chance to spend some time with one of the country's most prolific, polished acts doing the rounds.
