Eight films has been unveiled

The first batch of films to be screened at this year’s Melbourne International Film Festival have been announced, with a handful of pieces from the Next Gen program leading the bill.

Eight films have been unveiled, with Aussie documentary Gayby Baby and Italian film Me Romantic Romani leading the way.

Gayboy Baby deals with four children growing up with same-sex parents and the political and social environment surrounding their upbringing, in an effort to bring the discussion of gay and lesbian parenting into the spotlight.
