Justice Crew to perform half time show.

Just one week after Aussie rock singer Tex Perkins performed in front of nearly 90,000 people at the annual Anzac Day AFL clash, another act is set to take to the stage for the first home match this season of the Greater Western Sydney Giants.

Pop group Justice Crew will perform as part of the half time entertainment at the match between GWS and Hawthorn next Saturday at Spotless Stadium on May 9.

The six-piece dance troupe will also stick around to again perform in a 30-minute show on a purpose-built stage just metres away from the field.

It marks yet another collaboration between Australian sport and music acts nationally and around globe.

As well as Perkins performance last week, with AFL legend Ron Barassi, other artists to take the stage at live events include iconic guitarist Slash, who performed at last year's NRL grand final.

And who could forget the unique duo performance of Ed Sheeran and veteran act Tom Jones who played together on the same year at AFL's own grand final.

But many struggle to forget US musician Meatloaf's very awkward live performance in 2011. Ouch.
