Daniel Johns Unveils Debut Album Details, New Single

Resurgent Aussie muso Daniel Johns has announced the title and release date of his eagerly awaited debut studio full-length, at the same time dropping new single Cool on Fire as a pre-emptive present for the faithful.

Titled Talk, Johns' debut album will hit shelves and digital stores on Friday, 22 May, and will mark the musician's first new work following an eight-year stint away from the spotlight. We were given our inaugural taste of Johns' bold new direction with recent single Aerial Love, and Cool On Fire only serves to further cement his position as a vital and engaging performer, even in a post-Silverchair world.

The album, which features collaborations with the likes of Styalz and M-Phazes is set to be launched with a pair of high-profile performances at the Sydney Opera House for this year's Vivid Festival. See theGuide or The Music App for more information.
