The Welsh rockers are expanding their return journey Down Under with a couple of extra shows
Having recently impressed Aussie audiences on their January visit with The Kooks, Welsh outfit Catfish & The Bottlemen are lined up to return this July for Splendour In The Grass — and now they've joined the sideshow fun with an announcement of two headline performances of their own while they're in the country.
Catfish & The Bottlemen will perform ahead of their Splendour commitments on Wednesday, 22 July, at Melbourne's Corner Hotel, and the following evening, Thursday, 23 July, at Oxford Art Factory up in Sydney.
It's been a solidly upwardly mobile run for Catfish & The Bottlemen since the release of their acclaimed debut full-length, The Balcony, last year, the album spawning several radio favourites in the form of Kathleen, Cocoon, Rango and Pacifier, all while the band were ambling about casually achieving great things — a BBC Music Award for Best Newcomer, being named the best new artist in the US by Billboard, and recently performing on The Late Show With David Letterman included.
Tickets for Catfish & The Bottlemen's Splendour In The Grass sideshows will go on sale from next Wednesday, 6 May, via The Corner Hotel (Melbourne) and Moshtix (Sydney).
