The Smith Street Band Lead 2015 Poison City Weekender Line-Up

Poison City Records will once again hold their popular Weekender Fest in Melbourne this September, and they're ensuring it's an event to remember with the announcement that this year's line-up of rough-and-ready revelry is led by punks-of-the-moment The Smith Street Band.

Joining the Throw Me In The River scribes aboard the madness on 4-6 September will be fellow Oz punk heroes The Bennies, Clowns and Luca Brasi, as well as veteran outfit The Meanies. That's not all, though, as local fanatics are well catered for across the board, with acts such as Tired Lion, Batpiss, 

From across the seas, emo-pop darlings Modern Baseball will make the trek Down Under, with Long Island-bred contemporaries Iron Chic, folk-punk outfit Andrew Jackson Jihad, Ohio's The Sidekicks, transatlantic post-punks Self Defense Family and more all signing on for the esteemed local label's annual shindig this year.
