Poison City Records will once again hold their popular Weekender Fest in Melbourne this September, and they're ensuring it's an event to remember with the announcement that this year's line-up of rough-and-ready revelry is led by punks-of-the-moment The Smith Street Band.

From across the seas, emo-pop darlings Modern Baseball will make the trek Down Under, with Long Island-bred contemporaries Iron Chic, folk-punk outfit Andrew Jackson Jihad, Ohio's The Sidekicks, transatlantic post-punks Self Defense Family and more all signing on for the esteemed local label's annual shindig this year.
