Courtney Barnett Debuts In US Top 20

The new record from Melbourne singer-songwriter favourite Courtney Barnett has smashed its way into the US charts.

Not only did her new record, Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit, debut at #20 in the Billboard 200, it was also the #1 Independent Album, Alternative Album, Folk Album, and Rock Album.

Dominating the US charts and breaking into the UK charts last week makes her one of the biggest Australian exports at the moments.

Barnett also topped the Carlton Dry Indie Music Charts and came in at #4 on the ARIA Charts.
