Let the celebrations begin!
Beloved Perth indie-rockers Jebediah have announced a new album and run of shows to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The four-piece, who rose to prominence in the late ‘90s, will unveil the aptly titled Twenty on Friday, 29 May, with the tour kicking off a week later in Sydney at the Metro Theatre. Jebediah will also perform in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and of course, Perth, finishing up at the Astor Theatre on Friday, 26 Jun.
These won’t be just any kind of shows from the quartet, with each gig to be broken into two halves – the first will include a range of their classics and a few surprises, while the second half will see the band perform their debut LP Slightly Odway in full.
Jebediah will also be joined by a number of special guests throughout the run, including Front End Loader, Fur, Red Jezabel, Turnstyle and Screamfeeder.
Twenty, released via Sony Music, will feature an array of tracks from the band’s discography.
Tickets go on sale next Tuesday, 24 Mar. the tour is presented by The Music.
