The experimental rock legends are heading down under for a capital-city tour in May

More Boris More Boris

Profilic Japanese experimental/noise-rock veterans Boris will make their eagerly awaited return to Australian shores this May for a five-show jaunt around the country's capital cities, their first such visit in three years.

Getting under way at Brisbane's Crowbar on Wednesday, 27 May, Boris will head to Sydney's Newtown Social (29 May), the Corner Hotel, in Melbourne (30 May), Fowler's Live, in Adelaide (31 May, all-ages licensed), and Perth's Rosemount Hotel (1 June) on their antipodean sojourn.

Last time around, Australian fans were fortunate enough to be treated to a full, live rendition of their seminal third album Flood (2000),  but given the fact that, in the time since their last tour, Boris have recorded and released three more albums  PraparatNoise and the concluding chapter to their expansive series The Thing Which Solomon Overlooked, their 17th through 19th LPs in as many years  we can probably expect a whole new and exciting sonic palette to rear its head in a few months' time.

Tickets for Boris' 2015 Australian tour are $44+BF and available via Life Is Noise, Oztix and the respective venues. For more information, see theGuide or check The Music App.
