The trio will release their debut full-length in May

Everything's coming up Methyl Ethel lately — the ascendant Perth-based three-piece are not only set to nationally support San Cisco on their forthcoming Aussie tour but have an album of their own in the works and have just been announced as the newest addition to the roster of acts under the umbrella of renowned local label Dot Dash/Remote Control Records.

The new deal sees Methyl Ethel join acts such as Pearls, Courtney Barnett, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Client Liaison, Saskwatch, Velociraptor, Klo and Sunbeam Sound Machine under Dot Dash/Remote Control's purview, and comes just ahead of the band's impending debut album, Oh Inhuman Spectacle, due out in May via their new label.

Recent single Rogues, which first dropped mid-last year, is the first taste from the album, recorded in 24 crazy hours in Fremantle, and remains an excellent introduction to the trio's distinct brand of entertainment. You can check it out below, if you've not had the pleasure.

As previously mentioned, the WAM-nominated act have been selected to support fellow West Australians San Cisco on their national tour in support of new album Graceland; that sojourn kicks off with a double appearance in Fremantle - one 18+, the other under-18s - on Thursday, 23 April, and Friday, 24 April.
