Time to really start planning!

More Bluesfest More Bluesfest

The already massive Bluesfest has grown again today, with another round of acts added to the bill as the event unveils its all-important playing times.

Let's start with the new additions and leading the way on announcement number seven is indigenous Australian music legend Frank Yamma and American folk-rock troupe Delta Rae. Other acts on the new announcement include Wagons, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Dewayne Everettsmith, Luluc and Marlon Williams along with his band The Yarra Benders. Here is the full list:

Frank Yamma, Delta Rae, Wagons, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Marlon Williams & The Yarra Benders, Kristy Lee, Genevieve Chadwick, Dewayne Everettsmith, The Bella Reunion, Luluc, James T., Matt Andersen, Shaun Kirk, Eddie Boyd & The Phatapillars

Over to the playing times and punters really have a mountain of choices when it comes to planning out their Bluesfest weekend. Main stage MOJO is playing host to the likes of Lenny Kravitz, The Black Keys, Paolo Nutini, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and so much more, so once again, that'll be the place to be if you wanna witness Bluesfest 2015's biggest players.

But each of the other stages have just as much to offer too, with Crossroads playing host to a diverse range of acts from Jurassic 5 to Ben Howard, while Jambalaya will be home to some soulful artists like Gary Clark Jr., Mavis Staples and Charles Bradley. Both the Delta and Juke Joint stages will feature a stack of the locals, such as Steve Smyth, Luluc, Shaun Kirk and Jeff Lang to compliment their international performers.

There might be a couple of clashes, namely if you love Jurassic 5 as much as Ben Harper or Michael Franti as much as George Clinton, but festival-goers are pretty well spoilt for choices in 2015 so get planning!

Bluesfest takes place this Easter long weekend (Thursday, 2 to Monday, 6 Apr) and you can find all the details in theGuide, The Music App and our Bluesfest event page.
