The ongoing Mercy Campaign to spare the lives of convicted Bali Nine smugglers Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran continues even in the face of dwindling hope, with the announcement that a raft of celebrities, speakers and musicians will be attending Ampuni (mercy) Vigils in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth tomorrow, 18 February.

The Sydney event will be held at C3 Church, on the corner of Octavia Street and Metella Road, Toongabbi, from 7.30pm to 8.45pm, and will feature The Chaser's Craig Reucassel as MC with musical guests Mahalia Barnes and Chamal Fernando, alongside a guest list that includes the likes of campaign mastermind Ben Quilty, 2GB presenter Alan Jones and a representative for the Chan family.

In Melbourne, MC Eddie Perfect will lead a guest line-up featuring the Mercy Campaign's Matthew Goldberg, Justice Lex Lasry of the Supreme Court Of Victoria, and representatives of both the Chan and Sukumaran families. Musical performances will be provided by Clare BowditchBob EvansMissy Higgins and Mick Thomas. The Victorian vigil will be held from 7.30pm to 9pm at the Main Stage in Federation Square.

Finally, Perth's vigil — from 6pm-7pm at Wesley Uniting Church — is still shoring up its final line-up for speakers and the evening's MC, but has secured performances from Abbe May and Eskimo Joe's Kav Temperley.
