Taylor Swift Shows Love For Aussie Artist In Break-Up Playlist For Fan

If anyone should know a good break-up song when they hear it, it's Taylor Swift.

Although the Shake It Off songstress has made giant strides away from her mid-2000s era of pining for people who had left her behind, she clearly still keeps tabs on what might help ease the pain should she suffer a break-up again, going to the trouble of compiling a key break-up playlist for a heartbroken fan — and, impressively, Aussie singer-songwriter Montgomery is among the mix.

Not only that, but T-Swift proves herself to be quite the counsellor, too, offering her devastated fan "nevergooutofstyle" — whose boyfriend of four whole months had apparently unceremoniously ended things — some reassuring words and sagely advice on how to cope with the heartbreak before offering up a playlist of songs to help ease the pain, including Stay Away by Charli XCX, Wings by HEARTS, Sleep by Azure Ray and, of course, the Queensland-bred Montgomery, who warranted the mention for her sublime track Not Around. Not a bad endorsement at all.
