The punk vets return for a run around the country in just a few months
Californian punk-rock mainstays Guttermouth have announced that they will be returning to Australia for a series of shows all around the country this April, and they're sweetening the pot with the news that their may be tour-exclusive material to be released in its wake.
Despite calling it a day on international touring back in 2012, a rejuvenated Guttermouth are back in action and fine form after a period of tumult and inactivity (which might have included a stint in Mexican jail for frontman Mark Adkins), with the promise not to show up wasted and disappoint us this time — or at least the promise not to show up wasted — a key difference between the band's 2015 Aussie tour and their last southern sojourn a few years back.
This year's jaunt will kick off in Adelaide, at the Crown & Anchor, on Thursday, 2 April, and take in two shows at Collingwood's Bendigo Hotel, a performance at Barwon Heads Hotel, shows in Frankston, Bateau Bay, Mona Vale, Sutherland, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane, and the grand finale taking over the Rosemount, in Perth, on Saturday, 25 April.
All shows on Guttermouth's tour are 18+ (which, if you've ever heard a Guttermouth album — duh), and tickets will be made available for purchase from next Wednesday, 11 February.
