Hunter Hayes Announces Bluesfest Sideshows

Two dates locked in for the young country star

Young country music star Hunter Hayes has announced a pair of Bluesfest sideshows.

The 23-year-old American artist will venture to our shores for the first time this April for the massive event as well as shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Hayes will perform at the Prince Bandroom on Monday, 6 Apr and the Metro Theatre on Wednesday, 8 Apr and both outings are all-ages shows.

Hayes, who can play an impressive 30 instruments has become a force in the US country music market since releasing his debut, self-titled LP in 2011. He now has a second album, Storyline, under his belt as well as a number of nominations, awards and accolades. The multi-talented artist is up for a Grammy at this weekend's awards, in the category of Best Country Solo Performance. He will also be hosting the ceremony's pre-telecast.
