Midweek chart figures
Sydney post-hardcore trio Hellions are set to be the top debut in the ARIA Albums Chart this week with their album Indian Summer.
Released through UNFD, midweek figures are indicating the record is in line for a top 30 release, although that could climb with strong sales in the second half of the week. Released on Saturday evening, sales up until Friday evening count towards the week’s sales.
The only other album looking like troubling the scorers this week comes from another punk outfit – Pennsylvania’s Title Fight, whose Hyperview should sneak into the top 50.
Those two debuts should give existing albums enough space to fight for the top spots, with Taylor Swift’s four-times-platinum 1989 an odds-on favourite to hold the top spot. The big mover is Sia’s 1000 Forms Of Fear, which will climb from 11 into the top ten. George Erza’s Wanted On Voyage and triple j’s Like A Version Volume 10 should join her in that bracket.

Laneway artists are also reaping the rewards of the current festival, with Flight Facilities’ Down To Earth likely to jump into the top 20 and Banks’ Goddess should be back in the top 40. Royal Blood’s self-titled record is also set to creep into the 50.
The Veronicas’ The Veronicas, Alt-j’s This Is All Yours and Katy Perry’s Prism are also enjoying boosts this week.
In the singles chart the new collaboration between Rihanna, Paul McCartney & Kanye West is the big story of the midweek figures, with FourFiveSeconds to move from 13 into the top five. Taylor Swift’s Style will also jump from 17.
The highest debut will come from Future Classic-signed Hayden James’ Something About You. It’s looking at the lower regions of the top 50 at this stage.
Expect boosts from Maroon 5’s Sugar, Philip George’s Wish You Were Mine and Big Sean featuring E-40’s I Don’t F**k With You as well.
