Groovin The Moo Reveals 2015 Line-Up

The annual national Groovin The Moo touring festival has unveiled its details and first-round line-up for 2015, with a roster of A-list acts led by the likes of hip hop stars Hilltop Hoods, supergroup One Day, triple j indie darlings The Preatures and perennial bad boys Sticky Fingers.

Rounding out the cabal of acts set to grace the Groovin stages for 2015 are international rap heavyweight A$AP Ferg, Kiwi outfit Broods, British drawcards Charli XCX, Peace and You Me At Six, cult Canadian act Peaches, US rapper RL Grime and a strong contingent of locally sourced acts including festival favourites Ball Park Music, the ascendant Tkay Maidza, San Cisco, Saskwatch, Hermitude, Flight Facilities and more, with further artists still to be announced.

The first event in this year's Groovin The Moo train hits Oakbank Racecourse, in South Australia, on ANZAC Day — Saturday, 25 April — before heading to Bunbury, WA, on 26 April, Bendigo's Prince Of Wales Showground on 2 May, the University of Canberra on 3 May, Maitland Showground on 9 May, and wrapping up at Townsville's Murray Sports Complex on 10 May.

Tickets for this year's events will be available for purchase from 9am local time on Tuesday, 3 February, for the Oakbank, Bunbury and Bendigo events, while Canberra, Maitland and Townsville will have their crack from the same local time the following day, Wednesday, 4 February.

As a potentially rewarding sideline, Groovin The Moo is putting the call out to artists, graphic designers, students, professionals and amateur enthusiasts to take part in this year's sixth annual Groovin The Moo TEE competition, for which applicants must develop a festival souvenir that "captures the idyllic retreat that is Australia's only regional touring music festival".
