The buzzworthy rapper will play four shows at the end of January
Californian rapper and producer Ty Dolla $ign will make his first journey to Australia this month for a handful of dates around the country ahead of the release of his debut full-length Free TC later this year.
The rising performer is a part of Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records roster, having broken through about this time last year with first EP Beach House and its successful single Paranoid. The consequent momentum has carried Ty Dolla $ign — the son of a member of '70s funk outfit Lakeside — through to working alongside esteemed peers such as Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, YG, French Montana and Jeremih, as well as being a part of Kanye West and Paul McCartney's recent top-10-charting single Only One.
In addition to Paranoid, Ty Dolla $ign is the creative mind behind tracks such as YG's Toot It & Boot It and Chris Brown's Loyal, as well as having the time to drop a recent Diplo-produced single of his own — Stand For — ahead of his international tour and album release.
Ty Dolla $ign's maiden visit to Australia kicks off on Thursday, 22 January, at Perth's Metro City, and takes in dates in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. See theGuide or check The Music App for more.
