NSW's Most Secretive Festival Has Sold Out

8 January 2015 | 1:10 pm | Staff Writer

When is a secret no longer a secret?

The 2015 Secret Garden Festival has sold out, keeping up a precedent set by its predecessors made all the more impressive by the fact the faithful ticketholders have no clue who will be playing the event.

The two-day camping festival, which this year spans the weekend of 27-28 February, will unveil its line-up in a few days' time, on Tuesday 13 January, but, in the interim, organisers are promising that this year's crop will be its biggest to date, within the confines of an improved, weather-ready site at its annual location of "The Farm", off Camden's Brownlow Hill Loop Road.

As always, this year's event carries a charitable weight, with all ticketing and bar proceeds being donated to non-profit organisations. The 2014 iteration raised more than $100,000 for a range of charities including Oxfam, Girls and Boys Brigade and The Sarah Hilt Foundation and, with 2015 selling out in kind, this year's take-up of tickets looks to put the event on the right foot to make a positive impact by the time the party comes to a close.

Keep your eyes peeled on Tuesday for all the details about who'll be gracing the Secret Garden when it kicks off late next month.
