Police target UK trance act's shows.
The Age has reported that 40 people were arrested at last night's Above & Beyond gig at Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
All arrests related to drug offences, with two people charged and bailed, 36 referred to 'drug diversion' programs and two cautioned.
Police claim to have seized a wide variety of drugs from the arrests, including ecstasy, speed, coke, cannabis, GHB, MDMA and LSD.
Six people were reported to have been hospitalised at the English trance act's Sydney show at Hordern Pavilion on New Year's Eve the night before — they were said to have suffered 'adverse reactions to GHB and ecstasy'.
