The Best Local & International Performances Of 2014

There's something visceral about a gig and when you stumble upon a great one there's a bit of you is forever left at the venue.

Needless to say, with over 150 writers and freelancers around the country there's a fair bit of us left around in Australian venues. As the next part of this year's The Music Writers Poll we've voted on the 20 best performances for both international and local artists.

Festivals like Soundwave, Laneway, Splendour In The Grass and Big Day Out all get mentions, while there's validation for some of the nation's best local acts who've cut their teeth on the local scene.
